REFLECTION THREE


Take away from Lesson Three

After learning about the lesson on ScreenPal, I have developed one interactive video on three components of Attitude. This lesson really encouraged me to develop one with the help of Sir Ran Singh Tamang. 


The experience of creating interactive videos with ScreenPal has been transformative for my teaching approach. The platform’s intuitive tools for screen recording, video editing, and interactive features have empowered me to deliver more engaging and personalized learning experiences.

One of the most notable benefits of using ScreenPal is its ability to make lessons more accessible and dynamic. By integrating visual and auditory elements, I can simplify complex concepts and present them in an engaging way, ensuring that students remain focused and invested in their learning journey. The inclusion of interactive quizzes within the videos has been particularly impactful, as it enables real-time assessment of student understanding while providing immediate feedback.

ScreenPal’s compatibility across various devices and platforms has also been a significant advantage. This accessibility ensures that all students, regardless of their technological resources or preferences, can engage with the content effectively. This inclusivity aligns with my commitment to fostering an equitable and student-centered learning environment.

I also got opportunity to learn how we can add YouTube videos to make it more relevant and reliable for my learners to learn and explore the complex topic. This kind of technology in education are effective and help us to implement constructivism in education.

Overall, ScreenPal has proven to be an invaluable tool for enhancing both my teaching methods and students’ learning experiences. It has inspired me to explore more innovative ways to integrate technology into my lessons, making education more interactive, engaging, and effective for my students.

SESSION ONE

During the first session of PDY513: Educational Technology, we started with  Royal Kasho on Education Reform (113 ND) December 2020.   This simply highlights the importance of adopting into connectivism philosophy and being a proactive educators.  Secondly, we learned about TPACK framework, which focuses on the need for teachers to integrate technology effectively into pedagogy and content to meet diverse learners need.   Learning should be interactive because of the following reasons: 1.
