During the first session of PDY513: Educational Technology, we started with  Royal Kasho on Education Reform (113 ND) December 2020.   This simply highlights the importance of adopting into connectivism philosophy and being a proactive educators.  Secondly, we learned about TPACK framework, which focuses on the need for teachers to integrate technology effectively into pedagogy and content to meet diverse learners need.   Learning should be interactive because of the following reasons: 1. Enhanced student engagement 2.  Active learning 3. Personalized Learning 4. Active Participation 5. On second day we learnt on the topic " Interactive and Engaging to promote Learning ". This session introduced us to two powerful tools,  Slido  and  Blogger.com , both of which have significant potential to enhance teaching and learning. Slido  is a user-friendly Q&A and polling platform designed to make learning and teaching more effective, especially in advanced theoretical modules. It enables educators to crowdsource top questions, facilitate meaningful discussions, and engage students through live polls, fostering an interactive learning environment. By using Slido at the beginning of a class, educators can assess students’ prior knowledge and experiences, allowing lessons to be tailored to their needs.
